Welcome to, the world's #1 web-based application for learning, teaching, and sharing trope. Created under the guidance of an experienced Hazzan, TropeTrainer is for professional clergy, lay persons of all denominations, and anyone interested in learning trope. TropeTrainer includes all text of the Tanach - Torah (Five Books of Moses), Haftarah (Prophets), and Five Megillot (Writing). lets you search and access all of the ancient texts of the Israelites in multiple views (Vowels and Trope, Torah STaM, and Tikkun); Print Text; Record Your Voice; Bookmark for future access; and Customize a Reading.

Our proprietary Tutorial section is a benefit that sets us apart from any other trope training app. Our Tutorials are designed to help you efficiently learn to chant Torah and Haftarot in 32 different systems encompassing both the Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jewish traditions.

Our Calendar View shows weekday, Shabbat, Holiday, High Holy Day, Rosh Chodesh, major and minor fasts, special Shabbatot (ex: Shabbat Nachamu, Parah, HaGadol, etc..) and unique occasions as well. Basically, any day you are to engage in the chanting of an ancient text you will find it here with impeccable accuracy.

Our Date Converter lets you enter either Hebrew or Gregorian calendar dates and convert them to the other. This enables you to accurately select past or future dates to determine the proper Shabbat parashot.

If you need English Translations or English Transliterations of any given text, no problem. They are available in multiple, intuitive settings.

With TropeTrainer, you can view the Readings the way you want. Options include: Customizable Color Coding of Trope Phrases or individual Trope to Show Pausal Power, and Stacking by Text Sentences or Trope Phrase.

To get the most out of TropeTrainer, we recommend you view all of the learning videos first and then scroll though the “help” function tab to understand how everything works on the site. Once you understand the basics, go to the Setting section, customize the site to your liking, and enjoy your self-paced experience learning trope.
